May 2016: Embracing Travel

We all know that travel enriches everything: exposure to new places, people, and cultures forces us to adapt and think more broadly about who we are and our place in the world.

One thing is certain: it’s rare that taking a trip – even a day trip – isn’t worth it.

Not all travel is created equal. There are different trips for different times in our lives; reasons to explore (I’m a teenager away from home for the first time!) versus reasons to escape (I’m a new parent away from home for the first time!).

This month, our Pregame players share tips for traveling at different life stages, planning a strategic escape, entrepreneurial lessons from far-flung locales, and how to write off that next working vacation.

And much like an enlightening trip, this month’s featured work by artist Alex Nuñez adds vibrant dimension — and a bit of sparkle.
